How long does it take to get Unemployment in a new state?
There is nothing to apply for again: the claim stays with the state where you earned the wages, and it pays only while you remain eligible: able and available for work, searching for work, and certifying every week. You may also have to register with the job service where you now live, sometimes within days of filing. Only a brand-new claim on new-state wages would restart the clock.
Can I get benefits from two states at the same time?
